Today we write with heavy hearts. Our father, our leader, our comrade-in-chief – Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga – has rested.

Baba is no more.

The son of Jaramogi, the man who walked through fire for democracy, has finally answered the final call. For decades, he stood firm, never bowing to injustice. Whether it was detention without trial, rigged elections, or betrayal by the system – Baba never gave up.


He gave us a voice when we had none. He gave us courage when fear had gripped the land. He taught us to say “NO” when the system said “YES”. He was not just a politician – he was a movement.

We can never forget:

  • The Second Liberation.
  • The stolen victories.
  • The peace deals for the sake of Kenya.
  • The handshake that shook the nation.
  • The dreams of a united, prosperous country.

Baba stood tall even when the weight of the nation tried to bring him down.

Today, we don’t just mourn a man – we salute a general.

He may be gone, but his spirit lives on. In every comrade who dares to speak truth to power. In every youth who refuses to be silenced. In every heart that beats for justice.

Rest in Power, Raila Amollo Odinga.
The struggle continues.

  Every year, Kibabii University bursts into color, rhythm, and laughter during its much-anticipated Cultural Week —a vibrant celebration that brings together students from all corners of Kenya and beyond. The event serves as a living classroom, where culture, tradition, and modernity blend to showcase the rich diversity that defines  From the Luo to the Luhya, Kalenjin to Kikuyu, Somali to Swahili, and many others, each tribe found a space to shine. The campus transformed into a cultural village—stalls filled with traditional foods, handcrafted jewelry, colorful fabrics, and symbolic artifacts.
